We were so lucky in our site selection - the sun was on our patio in the morning, but on the other side in the P.M., so we often sat out in the afternoon (if we ever had time with all our activities!) without our awning. We even had our own palm tree and lots of privacy, as we purposefully chose this site so we would be backed up against the RV storage fence, so we didn't have any neighbors behind us. From January thru mid-March, we had great neighbors on our patio side - Ruth & Denny Stitt from the Pittsburgh area. They're lots of fun.
