We've been here before, but never with an RV. Stayed at Camping Alouette, about a 20 minute drive from the city. We met our new friends, Suzan & Art Horovitch, there. They are Canadians, retired, living 6 months a year at Alouette and travelling throughout the US the other six months, following the warmer weather. They were extremely friendly and helpful to us "newbies". Hope to see them in Quartzsite AZ in January at the Escapees Boomers rally.
We spent a very nice day with them touring the "little Italy" of Montreal, the McGill University area, the top of the mount where we took this picture of the Montreal skyline, then having dinner at a Middle-Eastern restaurant.
The other days we spent in Old Town, wandering the streets, having Seafood Crepes for dinner one night, and classic French food another night.
One of the nights, we heard music in the streets, followed the sounds and discovered an Italian music and video festival. What a treat!
