Quebec City, Quebec

7/12/07 - 7/15/07
San Francisco is probably the most beautiful city in the US, but Quebec City is probably the most beautiful and charming city in North America. It's also very clean. We stayed in the town of Levis and had to take a ferry over, a treat in itself - approaching the Chateau Frontenac. The second pix is the Chateau.
The ferry docks in lower Old Town and in order to reach the upper Old Town, you either take the funicular all the way up or walk up very steep stairs and then walk up a very steep hill. We always chose the stairs and the hill - omg! Puts you in the mood for coffee and French pastries as a reward!
