1.) Do you have an "official address"?
-----Yes, we are residents of Sioux Falls, South Dakota - we reside in a tiny mailbox at our mail-forwarding service. Don't worry - this is a real & legal address, from which we'll pay our taxes and vote.
2.) What do you do about your mail?
-----The mail service forwards our mail once a month, or sooner if we ask, to wherever we say - either General Delivery in the town we specify or to the campground at which we're staying.
3.) How do you pay your bills on time when you're always on the road?
-----Just about all of our bills are either paid by automatic debit which we set up, or paid online before the due date.
4.) How do you both live in such a tiny space?
-----There's plenty of room , plenty of storage and we spend a lot of time outdoors. Our space may be small, but you should see our back yard! It could be a large park, Lake Ontario, the Arkansas River, the Sea of Cortez, etc. And we get along really well - important in a small space.
5.) What do you do all day?
-----We tend to be either sightseeing, visiting with our "neighbors", lounging by the pool if there is one, dining out occasionally, shopping, or sitting on our patio in the warm sun. And then there's sewing, cardmaking, reading, playing games, listening to our favorite music, lots of walking, the internet, doing this blog, etc.
-----We also have to do what y'all do: laundry, cooking, washing dishes, cleaning "house", banking, foodshopping, making the bed - you get the idea!
----- Actually, we get up in the morning and ask one another "what are we going to do today", and then by the time we go to bed at night, we only have half of it done!
6.) Don't you get confused---what town are you in, what time zone, what day is it?
-----Sometimes we do get confused for a moment. We can always look on the computer. Or, if it's Tuesday, it must be Belgium (for you younguns, that's a title of an old movie).
7.) How are you handling the high price of diesel/gas?
-----We begrudgingly pay it, but realize the way to help control our expenditures is not to move around as much - saves on diesel and you can get weekly or monthly rates at campgrounds.
-----We also try to camp free or for a nominal fee, which we accomplish by staying on free or half-price government lands, Walmart parking lots on our way to our next stop, half-price membership campgrounds, and national parks, where our Golden Passport gives us a 50% discount.
