We finish moving out, lock, stock and barrel, as they say, from our apartment in Cranford NJ and move into our new home, a 40' Safari Serengeti diesel-powered motorhome, complete with a washer/dryer combo, but no dishwasher (and Irene's hands will be the worse for it). We are parked in Pine Cone Campground in Freehold, the closest we could get to Cranford to enable us to move our "stuff".

Family party at our campsite: Kerry and Nikki, Michele & Mike and new baby Ella, Alexandra, and Russell & Karen. This was the first time these family members saw our new home so they could decide if we were as crazy as they suspected!

Irene's appointment with the podiatrist in Westfield, NJ- bad news: she needs a painful bone spur removed from her left big toe, necessitating a return to NJ on July 27th for paperwork to prepare for Aug. 1st surgery. Oh, nooo!!! this will put a crimp in our travel plans, especially when we find out that Irene will have to visit the podiatrist once a week after the surgery for 6-8 weeks! We now have to change our travel plans to allow for this.
