Nehalem Bay Area - Oregon

While staying at the absolutely wonderful Oregon State Park in Nehalem Bay (separated from the Pacific Ocean by a big, but climbable sand dune), we took our car and did some road trips.
---Left: The Tillamook Cheese Factory, in Tillamook, OR. We were able to take the factory tour, then enjoy a lunch of delicious chowder & a Tillamook cheese sandwich, followed by a dish of Tillamook Huckleberry Ice Cream - not too fattening as we shared one order of everything.
---Right: We also visited the Blue Heron French Cheese Company in Tillamook as well, but were disappointed to find out they no longer make cheese here. However, we did enjoy watching the animals outside.

---Left: the no-longer functioning Cape Meares Lighthouse.
