On our way to Mexico, we decided to be sure and stop here on the way back, because it was such a pretty casino. We dry-camped here for two nights on our way to Mesa, AZ. This is an Indian casino, so we were able to park here free. We realized while we were in Organ Pipe that we seemed to have lost our Verizon cell-phone in Mexico (not to worry, no one could use it in Mexico), and there was no cell-phone service anyway in Organ Pipe so we couldn't used our spare Tracphone.
Even though this casino was only two hours north of Organ Pipe, staying here enabled us to call Verizon to suspend service while we tore the coach apart looking for the phone and we were also able to stock up on American food. After a few days back in the U.S., we decided to buy another Verizon phone here in Maricopa, which was back in civilization with a plethora of stores & supermarkets. Hooray & Hallelujah!
We spent Irene's birthday (March 19th) here - had dinner at the casino. Irene didn't gamble at all, natch, and Joe lost his usual $20, so he says.
