The "down-town" area, by the "Male-con" features many, many souvenir shops (we think all are owned by the same person!) and, of course, nice restaurants and even fresh fish shops. We purchased fresh shrimp twice from these vendors, and even bought five pounds to freeze to bring back with us to the U.S. the photo to the right is part of the marina.
