Jerome is the remains of an old mining town, where the Phelps Dodge Corpo-ration took out millions & millions of dollars worth of copper, gold & silver. It's been a ghost town since the early 1950's. Now, it's jazzed up with shops & restaurants, and even a movie theatre museum. There are only a few streets - at left is a popular bar and gathering place for bikers (they were very friendly) and at right is where Joe & Irene shared a delicious lunch of a gourmet hamburger and a turkey & avocado wrap.
