----- We're staying at a wonderful RV park: Val Vista RV Resort, complete with four pools (one is indoor), 4 hot tubs, activity centers, 2 libraries, miniature golf, tennis courts, water exercise & aerobics, tai-chi, craft classes, etc. And Irene's favorite: palm trees! Here we are, amid the palm trees- we even have one on our patio. We have all of our wheels covered so as to avoid sun damage.
----- Since we've been here, we've met so many nice people: Mariel & Denny Grubar from Minnesota, Reiner & Rosemarie Mechel from Ontario, Mona & Bob Naleway (whose family has a big perogie business) from Manitoba, Judy and Wayne Shakel from Michigan, and several friendly ladies from Irene's 8:00 A.M. aquatic exercise group.
----- We're going to be here for quite some time while our coach is being repaired after the accident we had in Mexico on our way home- a young Mexican woman hit us broadside - over $20,000 in damages, all cosmetic. She was driving on the wrong side of the street (left-hand side), was trying to make a left-hand turn, and doesn't have any insurance - the accident is totally her fault, as evidenced by the police report.
----- Irene thinks she was talking on her cell phone and wasn't paying attention - how could she miss seeing a 40-ft. coach in the intersection. Hope this doesn't raise our insurance premium, or worse - cause us not to be renewed.
