One of our social events was going out for dinner to Bucca de Beppo, an Italian chain restaurant, with new friends Judy & Wayne Shakel from Michigan. We sat at the special table in the kitchen (an interesting experience for Irene & Joe because of their Casa di Trevi background). We enjoyed some of our selections, but not the lasagna.
-----Judy & Wayne are avid motorcyclists (as you tell by their shirts). Wayne is a senior main-frame programming consultant, currently working in Scottsdale, AZ. Judy is now retired and loves to excercise, bike, hike, etc. They had their own main-frame consultant staffing business for several years before dissolving it, due to their clients (all major companies) outsourcing to India. They travel to warm climates in their travel trailer in the winter with their Yorki, Sidney, taking consulting jobs in Florida and now Arizona. They'll be returning to Michigan in June, after Wayne heals from his motorcycle accident (Judy was unhurt).
