At first, we thought that bison were ugly. then, the more we saw them, the more we decided they were beautiful animals. ---Left: a male & a female bison blocking our way - Joe had to finally blow the horn to get them to move. --- Right: a male bison going wherever he wants - it's easier for him to walk on the road - and who are we to stop him?

---Left: this male bison decided he wanted to cross the road, despite all of the traffic (of course, everyone was driving about 5 miles an hour and taking pictures like crazy). So, of course, the cars parted to let him through - wouldn't you? ---Right: another male bison coming alongside Irene's side of the car.
