-----Hoover Dam, continued

It was very impressive to see the different water levels - the higher level (Lake Mead) is in the photos above - these photos show the lower level. Because this dam is smaller, it allowed us to see everything from the road (all of the pix are taken at road level) and really appreciate how the dam works.

This is one-half of the bridge that is being con-structed over the dam - there is a duplicate of it on the other side. Hope they get it right and, one day upon completion, meet in the middle! Imagine these bridge workers doing this type of job every day - OMG!
