San Francisco, CA - 10/30 thru 11/4/08

We are so happy to be back in San Francisco, probably the most beautiful city in the U.S. We had four full days to explore the city - however, on two of the days, it rained so hard, we couldn't even leave our motorcoach. The other two days were marginal - that explains our crummy pictures. We were so disappointed.
---Left: our first glimpse of the San Francisco skyline as we ferried over from Larkspur, the location of our campground. Luckily, the Larkspur ferry terminal was only a quick four-minute car ride from our c'ground, and the ferry ride over to SF took about 20 minutes.
---Right: the San Francisco ferry dock at the Embarcadero.

Yeah!!! Palm trees on the Embarca-dero. How we missed palm trees since leaving Mesa! Coit Tower is visible through the palm trees in the photo on the right.
