Yosemite National Park, CA

We just love this life - we can change our minds at any time as to where we want to be. Make a left turn instead of a right. We never expected we could make it to Yosemite at all before winter sets in and the roads are snow-covered and closed.

When we left Mesa AZ at the end of May for a six-month trip, we had a general idea of where we'd go, but were not sure how long we would want to stay in each place and in each state nor how far we'd get before having to start south to arrive back in Mesa for the winter months.

We were delighted that we had enough time to visit Seattle and San Francisco, and thrilled that we found two Escapees co-op parks that we had wanted to check out for future residency (we can buy in). One is in Chimicum WA, which was our base for visiting Seattle, Victoria BC and the Olympic Peninsula and luckily, we found one in Coarsegold CA, that was in a good location to visit Yosemite (we never expected to be able to visit Yosemite this trip).

The Coarsegold location enabled us to check out Fresno, should we decide to buy into the beautiful co-op at Coarsegold. Fresno has lots of shopping (one of Irene's requirements), a good airport (another of Irene's requirements) and is only 30 miles away from Coarsegold.
