-----Yosemite National Park, CA - continued

While staying for 7 days at an Escapees Co-op camp-ground park in Coarse-gold CA, we visited Yosemite twice. It was designated a World heritage site in 1984. As famous spectacular national parks go, this wasn't as spectacular as others we have visited, but beautiful nonetheless.
---Left: here we are in front of one of the most photographed views in the world, with El Capitan Peak to the left, the snow-covered Clouds Rest Peak in the left-center and Half-Dome Peak jutting out in the center.
---Right: Half-Dome Peak up close.

---Left: a nice view of El Capitan, a massive granite monolith standing 3593 feet from its base.
---Right: the nearby Bridalveil Fall.
---While in Yosemite, we were also able to visit the Ansel Adams Gallery, owned since 1902 by the family of the famous photographer who is known for his black-and-white photos.
