Our campground, called Tunnel Mountain, is in Banff National Park - really beautiful. Not only do you pay a daily campground fee ($34), but also a daily National Park fee ($20). And we did not have any hookups (water, sewer & electric), only a place to park! Thank goodness we have large holding tanks and could empty them at the dump station upon leaving. But it also means we have to run our generator twice a day to recharge our batteries and if Irene wants to iron, use the blowdryer, microwave, etc.
Our refrigerator can run on propane if we have no electic hookups.
