MALIGNE LAKE - JASPER NATIONAL PARK, AB

We had hoped to take the famous boat ride on the lake, but the boathouse wasn't even open yet. We were so disappointed, as the lake was truly beautiful. We did get to see two bears on the road back to Jasper - several vehicles pulled over while the bears cavorted and then walked across the road to the other side.

Although the lake isn't totally thawed yet, you can see the beautiful green glacial water.
