We enjoyed the River Walk so much, we went almost every day, weather permitting. Of course, it's most lovely after dark because of all the many twinkling lights.

-----To the left: the terminus of the river, at a shopping mall & movie theatre complex. You can see the boat tour in progress - we did take the tour. It was very nice and we were able to see sites we would not have because there were no walkways.
