Oklahoma City .....

The Oklahoma National Memorial was very moving. At the time of the bombing, a meeting was being held nearby, the proceedings of which were being taped. Therefore, in the museum, they play the tape so you can actually hear the explosion. Part of the exhibit included photographs of all who were killed, including the little children & babies who were in the nursery. Joe was so moved, he had to leave that room. Irene just cried.

The bombing took place at 9:01 in the morning. The chair sculptures represent one chair for each person killed - large chairs for the adults and small chairs for the little children & babies.
