We knew, before taking the 8-hour tour, that
only about 30% of park visitors ever get to see Denali, the mountain. We were told that the mountain, at 20,320 feet, "makes its own weather". We did get to see the mountain after leaving the national park and stopping in our motorhome at a roadside pullout on our way to our next stop. We were really excited to finally be able to see Denali, but could only view it for about 5 minutes, before those dark clouds completely obliterated our view.
