We were so excited to see some wildlife up close - well we're not sure they're so wild! These burros are so tame, they come right up to your car window, looking for food. So many visitors feed them. The car on the right is our Honda CRV.

---Left: this little one was happy to let a woman pet him.
---Right: further down the road, we saw our first bison (buffalo) - wouldn't try to pet him (or her)!
