Here are some scenes from Sturgis before the official start of the rally - as you can see, there are still lots of bikers in town already. There will be a lot of big name entertainment for the rally: Kenny Chesney, John Fogerty, Kid Rock,
Dirks Bentley, Kiss, and several others.
---There were many vendors already setting up on the day we were there. A lot of money is made from the rally - selling biker-related stuff, selling food, campground sites, tourist attractions, people renting out their lawns, etc.
---A ranger from Custer State Park told us that last year, the Park alone made $ 300,000 from the bikers in fees and souvenirs. So the Black Hills area makes millions from the rally.
