Left & Right: views of Clear Creek. Lots of teenagers and some adults were tubing and kayaking the day we were there. Golden really is a lovely town. We enjoyed a tasty lunch of crepes at "Grappa" and also visited the Foothills Museum in a former old church and the local library while there. At the library, Irene was able to buy a current hardly-used trade paperback for $1.00 - the same book she was eyeing on the featured-shelf at a well-known Denver bookstore (The Tattered Cover) the night before for $14.00!!
